We have chosen to partner with Reach Out and Read, an incredible organization that supports valuable development in children and their families through daily shared reading and other language-rich activities. The Reach Out and Read program not only develops critical early literacy skills in children across the United States, but also promotes positive social-emotional outcomes that contribute to academic success and help children cope with and become resilient to stress.
One of the best ways parents can engage with infants and toddlers is through reading aloud together. Parents are their child's first teacher and these special moments of quality time will create a powerful bonding experience.
